I would be interested in hearing how some of the Indie Allies groups are going around the globe.

In Dallas there is not a lot of connectivity between emerging church leaders, but we are getting ready to be more intentional about getting people connected.

Here we are: http://indieallies.me...

Well, we're having lots of fun in Indianapolis. The meetup has been a great catalyst for getting together people with similar ideas about what the church should be/where it is going. A lot of us either don't currently attend a church or are dissatisfied with our current experiences--as one of our member said, "It's nice to know I'm not a freak." We have been having some pretty lively discussions on our message boards, too. Feel free to check us out: http://indieallies.me...

In Charlotte, NC, there's not a ton of connectivity either, but there's a great core group of emerging church folks who've been committed to Indie Allies, and I'm excited about broadening that circle in the coming months. It's definitely about intentionality -- but I'm not above using some good Christian guilt to bring out the masses, either wink

Well here in Nashville there has been a huge lull for over a year. I took over as the organizer and hope to revive this group.

I actually work in the traditional church setting, but seeking to find like minded folks who are dissatisfied with the status quo.
