Live Occurrences: Doug Pagitt and Erik Johnson are spreading the Hope-filled, Open-armed, Alive and Well faith in churches, bars and public meeting spaces around the country.

Live Occurrences are part one-man show (but there are two of us), part revival, part book reading, part hootenanny, and part communal gathering.

The 2-hour Live Occurrences include readings from the book, music - original and covers, video, spoken-word poetry, impassioned invitations to be part of the common good.

Live Occurrences are specially formulated for the Left-out, Left-behind and Let-down, and will be suitable for one and all regardless of background.

Yep, Doug will actually be there! Look forward to meeting everyone. The event will last at least 2 hours. Afterwards, we will probably get together for additional conversation.

I'm glad I was able to make it out for the evening. Doug really made some good points and along with bringing relevant, intellectual and serious information, his sense of humor kept it all well balanced. I'm looking forward to further discussions about the emerging church and in trying to stay more active with this group.
    •  Doug was great and getting to meet Andrew, Sarah and the rest of the crew was stimulating and awesome. I will be back next month and bring more with me. Tonight I invited several and 4 came. Doug was awesome!
    •  Like the book, but with talking and videos!
    •  I was really impressed by it. He gave a great presentation on thoughts from his book with a nice mix of music and video clips. Because he shared his thoughts in a narrative style with stories from his life they were easy to relate to.
    •  i thought it was really interesting but it was longer than I expected. i would still have gone knowing it was longer though. It was certainly thought provoking! thanks for arranging it!
