Muncie Emergent Cohort Meetup Saturday, August 25

It seems like Saturday is the day the most people can come so let's shoot for this Saturday, August 24. Since the picnic was so pleasant last time we'll meet at Westside Park again on Saturday at 6pm unless someone has a better idea. I'll check on the availability of the picnic shelter. Nick, could you bring your grill as we had planned for the last time? If not, everyone just bring food to share. Invite friends who might be interested.

David and I would like to talk about a couple of ideas for the fall when we meet. We met some folks from Indy who are doing asset based community development in Lockerbie and in the Fall Creek Community. Their approach to outreach is exciting to me and full of possiblities for faith communities of all kinds. We think it would be a good thing to invite these folks to come up to do a presentation on what they are doing and invite others from the community to participate. We'd also like to talk about the possibility of having a monthy worship gathering for any emergent types in the Muncie community. Just a few thoughts for further discussion.
